Care & Cleaning of Your Handcrafted Sweater

The sweater you have purchased for your dog from K9knittersUSA has been completely handmade, so we recommend a gentle cleaning. Almost all products we sell are washable either by hand or machine.

For machine washing we recommend the sweater be placed in a lingerie bag and washed on a gentle cycle in cool water. Sweaters that are 100% wool should be hand washed in a good wool wash, like Eucalan. Laying the sweater flat to dry will help extend the life of your sweater.

We want our handwork to remain beautiful and useful for the longest time for you and your dog. Following these care & cleaning instructions will help.

As with all handcrafted sweaters you may notice a yarn end or two pop out to the public side of the sweater. Gently pull these back to the wrong side - do not cut them off.
